fsck - how to run a filesystem check
Description

To run a filesystem check:

# fsck [-y] filesystem

Example in Sun Solaris (use raw device name):

# fsck /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0

Example in IBM AIX:

# fsck /dev/hd1

Note: use -y flag if you want to answer "yes" to all questions asked by fsck (be careful!)

fsck /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s0
