Description

To find the number of active processors in IBM AIX:

# bindprocessor -q
The available processors are: 0 1 2

To find the number of processors installed (but not necessarily available):

# lscfg -v | grep proc
proc0 00-00 Processor
proc2 00-02 Processor
proc4 00-04 Processor
proc6 00-06 Processor
