dsm - how to start the administrative gui for TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) |
Description
To start the the administrative gui for TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager):
First set your DISPLAY variable (example for ksh):
# export DISPLAY=myhost:0.0
Start the gui as a background process:
# dsm &
Note: In order to start TSM server gui for versions below 5.3:
1) In dsmserv.opt make following changes:
- commmethod http
- httpport 1600 (can be any free port on your system)
2) Restart dsmserv , if already running
3) Access the server on port 1600 using a web browser |
