Fatal error:Invalid LPAR Partition when booting an AIX 5.1 LPAR |
Description
If you get the following error after setting up a profile of a LPAR on an IBM RS/6000 server:
Fatal error:Invalid LPAR Partition
The reason is that you set (checked) the "Small Real Mode Address Region" in the "Memory" tab in the profile of the partition.
To correct:
1 - Go in partition which has this error
2 - Click on the memory tab
3 - Disactivate (uncheck) the "Small Real Mode Address Region" box |
