To stop an application server in Websphere Application Server (WAS) version 5:
# install_root/bin/stopServer.sh appservername
where:
install_root : base installation directory of WAS v5 appservername = name of your application server
If you have security enabled:
# install_root/bin/stopServer.sh appservername -user WASUSER -password WASPWD
where:
WASUSER : the name of your WAS administrative user WASPWD : the password of your WAS administrative user |
